Who we are

Cop Drop is operated by Cop Drop Ltd (registration in England and Wales pending) with a service address at London, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@copdrop.xyz.

By entering a drop you accept these terms. They form a contract between you and Cop Drop, governed by the law of England and Wales.

02

What Cop Drop is

Cop Drop runs free prize draws for limited-edition sneakers. Each drop has a fixed prize, a published close time, and a fixed total number of entries. You can enter by buying a paid ticket or by using the free entry route — both pools share identical odds and are drawn together.

This is not a lottery within the meaning of the Gambling Act 2005. Because we always provide a free entry route with identical chances of winning, we do not require a Gambling Commission licence and no purchase is necessary to win.

03

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to enter. Only one entry account per person is permitted; duplicate accounts and their entries will be removed without refund.

Cop Drop staff, anyone with access to the random seed used for draws, and their immediate family are not allowed to enter.

04

Paid entry

A paid ticket costs the price displayed on the drop page. You can buy between 1 and 10 tickets per drop. Payment is processed by Stripe — we never see, handle, or store your card details.

You can buy as a guest using just your email address, or sign in with a Cop Drop account. Guest entries are linked to your account automatically when you sign up later with the same email.

Paid tickets are non-refundable once issued, except in the situations listed in our Refund Policy (duplicate charge, drop cancellation, technical failure, or a mistaken purchase reported within 30 minutes while the drop is still open).

05

Free entry

You can enter any active drop for free at /free-entry. Send an email to freeentry@copdrop.xyz including the drop number, your full name, your UK shoe size, and your contact email. We add your entry to the pool by hand within 24 hours and reply with confirmation. A postal entry route will be added shortly; the email route remains permanently available and offers identical odds.

Free entries are limited to one per person per drop. Free and paid entries are pooled and drawn together — every ticket has equal chance of winning.

06

The draw

When the drop closes, we draw a winner from the combined pool using a verifiable random function. The seed used for the draw is published on the Winners page before the drop closes. Anyone can re-run the draw given the seed and the entry list — the result is reproducible and tamper-evident.

Winners are notified by email within 24 hours of the draw. You have 24 hours from notification to confirm your shipping address. We then ship within 7 working days at our cost, with no extra payment from the winner. If you don't confirm within 24 hours, the prize is forfeited and a redraw takes place.

07

The prize

The prize is the sneaker described on the drop page, in the size you selected, shipped to a UK address. No additional payment is required from the winner — your ticket fee covers the prize and standard UK shipping.

Every pair is authenticated before the drop opens. If a winner receives a non-authentic pair or a different item from the one listed, we cover the return and ship a verified replacement, or refund the ticket fee in full if no equivalent stock is available.

08

Returns and consumer rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the prize must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. If it isn't, you can return it within 30 days for a full ticket-fee refund or a replacement.

Outside that statutory right, the entry fee is not refundable because each drop is a one-off prize draw with a fixed pool of entries.

09

Liability

We do everything we reasonably can to keep Cop Drop reliable, but we don't accept liability for indirect or consequential losses — for example, lost profit or wasted time. Our maximum liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us for the ticket(s) involved.

We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud — that would be unlawful.

10

Account suspension

We may suspend or close any account where we reasonably believe there is fraud, multi-accounting, payment chargeback abuse, or breach of these terms. We will email the registered address with the reason and refund any unentered paid tickets where appropriate.

11

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. Before going to court, please email us at hello@copdrop.xyz — most things we sort out within a working day.

12

Changes

We may update these terms as Cop Drop evolves. The version that applies to your entry is the one published when you bought the ticket. Material changes are flagged at the top with a new "Last updated" date.
